If you just searched “Tulsa photographer,” chances are you’re trying to figure out who you can trust with your memories. Maybe you’re planning senior photos, updating family portraits, celebrating a graduation, or finally getting in front of the camera for your business.
Hi, I’m Jamie. I’m a Tulsa-based photographer who loves creating images that feel natural, emotional, and true to the season you’re in. My clients often tell me they arrive nervous and leave saying, “Wait… that was actually fun.” That matters to me more than any perfectly posed frame.
I believe your job is to show up.
My job is to take care of the rest.
Let me show you what that really means and why families, seniors, and small businesses across Tulsa keep trusting me with their milestones.
What it’s like to work with me
I’m big on comfort. Music is usually playing. We move, we laugh, and we let real personalities come out.
If you’ve got littles, we follow their lead. Kids who feel safe and unhurried give genuine smiles. When they relax, parents relax too. The magic happens in that exhale.
Dads or husbands who hate the camera? I got you. I’ll guide you simply, keep things efficient, and promise not to make you “cheese” for 45 minutes straight.
Chaos doesn’t scare me. I’m wired to bring calm into busy situations, and that energy tends to ripple through the whole session.
You don’t need to know what you’re doing
Read this part twice.
You are not expected to be good at photos.
I am.
You don’t need to know how to stand, where to put your hands, how to fix your hair, or what to do with your kids. I’ll prompt you the entire time. I’ll adjust outfits, smooth flyaways, and demonstrate anything that needs demonstrating.
You get to be present with your people. I’ll handle creating something beautiful out of it.
The kind of photography I love most
I photograph:
High school seniors
College grads (including students from University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University)
Families
Maternity
Mommy & me sessions (yes, even messy, colorful paint minis)
Studio portraits
Branding for small businesses
Sports teams
Live music
At the heart of all of it, I love documenting change and growth. The baby bump before the baby. The senior before the cap and gown. The tiny kindergarten team before they’re suddenly bigger than their coach.
These are the days you’ll want back.
My posing style: natural first, editorial when it fits
Most of your gallery will be full of movement, connection, and real interaction. I want you talking, walking, hugging, laughing.
But listen… I also love an editorial moment.
Give me great light and a confident subject and I will absolutely create a frame that looks like it belongs in a magazine. The mix of candid and polished gives you variety and makes your gallery feel complete.
Outfit help is included (and I mean real help)
For extended families, I’ll guide you toward a cohesive color palette that photographs beautifully without feeling matchy.
For immediate families, I go deeper. I’ll help plan each person’s outfit so everything works together on camera — tones, textures, layers, all of it. This takes the guesswork off your plate and removes a huge source of stress.
Clients are always relieved when they realize they don’t have to figure it out alone.
Faster turnaround times
With my recent pricing updates, galleries are now delivered within one week.
I know you’re excited. I know grandma is waiting. I know you want to post. Waiting a month just doesn’t feel good anymore, so I’ve built my workflow to serve you faster while keeping quality high.
Who I’m especially excited to serve more of
I would love to photograph more studio sessions and more small businesses.
Branding work lights me up because strong imagery helps local entrepreneurs show up confidently and grow. If you’re building something, I want to help you look established and professional while still feeling like yourself.
Why I care so much about this work
I’m a people person to my core. I love meeting new families, learning kids’ personalities, and watching walls drop as sessions go on.
Photography also gives me flexibility with my own family, which I never take for granted. Every time someone hires me, they are supporting my dream while I help preserve their memories. That’s an honor I carry into every shoot.
Where I travel
Tulsa is home, but I happily photograph sessions in the Oklahoma City area and in Stillwater as well. If you’re wondering whether I’ll come to you, there’s a very good chance the answer is yes.
So… how do you choose the right Tulsa photographer?
Look for someone whose work makes you feel something.
Look for someone who guides instead of overwhelms.
Look for someone who helps you prepare, not panic.
Most importantly, look for someone you’d actually enjoy spending an hour with.
Because that connection? You’ll see it in every image.
If my approach sounds like the experience you want, I’d love to talk about your session and what you’re dreaming up next.
